What documents do you need
to work legally in Poland?

In order to legally work and stay in Poland, you need to obtain the appropriate permits. By contacting us, you have a guarantee that your documents will be in perfect order.

Any employee planning to come to work must have the following documents: 

  • Valid passport 
  • Type C or D work visa; 
  • Work permit; 
  • Medical insurance. 

You may work for a maximum of 90 days during any 180-day period of residence in Poland.

  • Visa C – short-term (90/180) 
  • Visa D (05, 05а,06)– long-term (up to 1 one year).


The purpose of the issue is the key here (on the basis of 01, 20, 21 visa it is not possible to work).

This type of document allows you to extend your stay in Poland after the expiry of your visa. It is issued on the basis of a temporary residence and work permit.
